Everett is now an outspoken supporter of a variety of social and political causes, including the decriminalization of same-sex marriages. He was earlier and memorably showcased in the Chronicles of Narnia and Shrek franchises in the 2000s and 2010s, but he no longer looks like his former boyish self.
