Priyanka Chopra was born in Jamshedpur, India, in 1982, and her family eventually made their way to the U.S., where Chopra studied to become a software engineer or criminal psychologist. However, Chopra also began to star in dozens of Bollywood productions, before being noticed by American producers. Chopra was cast in the lead role of ABC’s Quantico, which helped launch the actress to American fame.
