The Most Enormous Athletes of All Time

Troy “Escalade” Jackson was a 500-pound basketball player who stood at 6 ft 10 inches tall. Escalade was the nickname that he picked up while playing streetball. He played often at Rucker Park in New York City and was recruited by the coach of Wallace Community College. He earned the all-region honors distinction at Wallace when he was a sophomore and was offered a scholarship at the University of Louisville, where he lost almost 140 pounds. While he wasn’t an NBA player, he is the brother of NBA player Mark Jackson. He died in 2011 at just 39 years old in his sleep due to hypertensive heart disease.
