Not all of the world’s largest athletes participate in violent sports. Andy “The Viking” Fordham was a professional darts champion. Andy was a large man reaching 434 pounds. While he was great at darts, Fordham had several major health issues that derailed his career for a time. He was an excessive drinker, which killed most of his liver and forced him to stop drinking. He also lost nearly 238 pounds in order to avoid an emergency liver transplant. After working on his health, Fordham returned to professional darts in a new circuit. Because of this, he played in both of the leading circuits during his career.
