Jon Rauch is the tallest player in the history of Major League Baseball standing at 6 feet 11 inches tall and weighing more than 290 pounds. Throughout his career, he played for a variety of teams, including the Chicago White Sox, Montreal Expos, Arizona Diamondbacks, Toronto Blue Jays, Miami Marlins, and the New York Mets. He is an Olympic Gold Medalist from his participating in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, where he represented the USA. He retired in 2014, after opting out of a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles and being released from the Kansas City Royals.
