Shannon Miller is a decorated gymnast. She was a world all-around champion for two consecutive years and part of the famous Magnificent Seven team winning gold in the 1996 Olympics. Miller focused on her education after retiring from gymnastics. She completed her undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston and completed her law degree at Boston College. She launched her own company in 2010 named Shannon Miller Lifestyle, and unfortunately was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2011. After surviving the illness, she continues to be an advocate for cancer awareness and survivorship, and at the same time remains in the gymnastics community serving as an analyst and commentator.
