Richard Sherman is an All-Pro cornerback in the National Football League, known mostly as a member of the feared defensive unit called the “Legion of Boom.” He attended college at Stanford University, where he played for the Stanford Cardinals. He was named as the Freshman All-American. Although he’s known for being outspoken, he is equally known for being philanthropic and smart. He has a charity called Blanket Coverage – The Richard Sherman Family Foundation that provides help to low-income families for school supplies in an effort to support academics.
