Simon Mignolet is a Belgian soccer player who played in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign and the 2018 World Cup. He speaks four different languages, including Dutch, English, German, and French. He currently plays as a goalkeeper for the Belgium national soccer team and Club Brugge. The public has voted in polls that he is one of the most intelligent professional soccer players around. He was recognized as the Belgian Goalkeeper of the Year in 2010 and the Sunderland Player of the Year in 2013. He was the third place distinction for the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
