Known by his nickname “Moneyball,” Shane Battier played professional basketball for the Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, and Miami Heat. He won many career recognitions, including the Academic All American of the Year, NCAA Champion, NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player, NBA Teammate of the Year, and an NBA Championship. He attended Duke University. He is recognized by Sporting News as one of the smartest athletes in sports. He is the co-owner of D1 Sports Training located in Memphis, Tennessee.
