Michael Jackson would have been 14 at the time the picture was taken. On Michael Jackson’s left is a journalist for Right On! magazine. The youngsters’ first hit, “I Want You Back,” had topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1970. Between 1969 and 1972, the group released albums at a fevered pace (six studio records). That may be a likely reason why Michael looks worn out in this photo, staring into the distance as his siblings smile for the camera
