Bill Murray may have stole the show in Caddyshack, but the young comedian had by then become a fan favorite on a popular late-night sketch comedy show called Saturday Night Live. (Ever hear of it?) Murray was one of the first comedians to tackle the mainstay “Weekend Update” sketch. (It was originally created by Chevy Chase.)
