Verizon’s “Can You Hear Me Now?” is one of those advertising campaigns that transcended the product they were trying to sell. A lot of people use the phrase without realizing it’s from a commercial. The face of those commercials, Paul Marcarelli, moved on to Sprint after Verizon let him go.
